Sanera has been approved by the EPA as virucidal and bactericidal. Its active ingredient (HClO) has also been proven to meet the disinfectant standard against fungi, mold and spores.

Sanera hospital disinfectant is listed on multiple EPA pathogen specific lists including list Q for Emerging Viral Pathogens (EVPs). Sanera meets Tier 3 of the EPA’s disinfectants for EVPs standard which is the highest standard. SARS-CoV-2 is a Tier 1 EVP whereas RHDV2 is a Tier 3 EVP.
